Thank you soooo much for the emails, calls and text messages. I'm safe from the earthquake that happened lately ([link]) in Central Java, Indonesia. So.. don't worry. But I do really really appreciate your concerns.

It's been a while since I wrote my last journal. I believe I haven't kept you updated quite much.
Well... I got a job in Tegal, Central Java, as a teacher. Thus I had to move out of Surabaya (East Java). I started working here the 1st of May and things are quite busy at the new place. It's quite fun, though.

As in the earthquake, I did feel the shake that morning. Woke up with my bed rattling. I did not panic but still, I had a slight worry about how to get out of this building (I live in the same building as my office) for I haven't got the gate key until now. Fortunately it was a weak earthquake in where I live, so everyone is safe and good.

There's no more earthquake, we hope. But we've been anticipacing about the volcano eruption [[link] that is predicted to blow in about two weeks.
I live quite far from it, but my workmates and I expect to have some big impacts when it does indeed erupt.

Buuut, beside all that, life is good. I'm so away from the people I love, but at the same time I feel so much closer to them.
